Learning in Years 7-9
The Key Stage Three curriculum at Gunnersbury Catholic School is taught over three years from Year 7-9.  All students are taught a rich range of topics within subjects. All departments follow the National Curriculum guidance and ensure that students’ experiences in the classroom allow for meaningful learning over time. In addition, lessons also offer spiritual, moral, social and cultural opportunities (SMSC) within and beyond the classroom.  We aim to motivate and challenge each pupil to reach their potential from the beginning of their journey as a Gunnersbury boy.Art and Design Technology (DT) are taught on rotation through the year.  The aim of the rotation is to reduce the number of subjects and teachers the younger pupils need to cope with at any one time, rotations have been very successful in improving learning.

Learning in Years 10-11
Years 10and 11 (Key Stage Four) seamlessly continue the journey of learning that has taken place in our lower school at Gunnersbury.  The Key Stage Four curriculum ensures that Gunnersbury students acquire exceptional knowledge, skills and enthusiasm in their subjects.  Pupils are prepared for the next point of their education through an expansive curriculum that develops a love of learning and the capacity for individual study.  Students are tremendously well-prepared for their GCSE and BTEC examinations, but more than that they are equipped to have the necessary knowledge, skills and resilience to thrive in this dynamic demanding world.

Learning in the Sixth Form
The Key Stage Five curriculum at Gunnersbury Catholic School offers both A ‘level and BTEC options in the sixth form. They are ambitious for all the students and we work together with young people and their parents to ensure there is a high level of learning and a pathway that leads to university and beyond. They know firm foundations come from excellent teaching and learning and our staff are committed to ensuring your son/daughter receives the best education in their chosen subjects.

Co-curricular
At the heart of a Gunnersbury education lies a wide range of enrichment opportunities; Gunnersbury boys can enjoy and benefit from a myriad of visits, trips, clubs and societies. The excellent relationships that we have nurtured with Russell Group universities and with Eton College, the Rotary Club, the Law Society, the Science Museum and others, continue to enable increasing numbers of boys to further their love of learning and discovery, outside of the classroom. We provide lunchtime and after school clubs and societies that are open to all and boys are encouraged to come along and explore. Some societies, such as Chess Club, are designed to give boys a peaceful environment in which to relax and unwind. Others aim to develop a new skill or interest, such as the 3D Printing Club and our popular Drama Club
