Early Years
This is where our early years and reception classes begin their educational journey. It is called the foundation stage because it offers our little ones a solid foundation, preparing them for future learning and achievement.Little Eden is truly a home away from home. Our Early Years Department caters for little ones between the ages 2 and 5. We offer a combination of adult-led, focus activities and child-led learning.Although our aims and objectives are the same as the rest of the school, our EY curriculum is based on practical tasks, first-hand experiences and structured play. It is planned with the child’s holistic development, interests and enthusiasm in mind. Our days are filled with learning through singing, rhyme and dance, using nature and the Bible as a springboard for learning in all subject areas, healthy meals and snacks and lots of water.  Learning is thirsty work!

Primary
The school is a place where we put the children first in all we do and strive to provide the very best possible education for each individual. Our dedicated and experienced staff and governors work hard to ensure that we continuously provide a caring, supportive and safe place for children to learn.  A child’s early years are such an important time in their development and we strive very hard to make their introduction to school a happy and constructive one. As a small church school, we endeavour to ensure that our Christian values permeate through every aspect of school life.In Key Stage 1, the children are not taught their subjects in isolation.  They learn through a creative curriculum where subjects are inter-linked through topics such as ‘What is it like to live in a fantasy world?’, ‘What were homes like in the past?’ and ‘Why are rainforests important?’. They also read key texts linked to their topic which they explore through drama, art and other subject areas.

Secondary
The Eden High School has at its heart a clear focus on academic achievement together with a firm commitment to develop the moral and spiritual values and skills of all our young people. They live in a society where there are mounting pressures on our young people that academic achievement cannot necessarily relieve, therefore our teaching within the high school is particularly geared to being sensitive to the emotional needs of each child and our class structure is flexible enough to accommodate the students who may feel overwhelmed throughout the day.The highly trained TAs are guided to support and nurture students during those difficult times.

Sixth Form
Due to the small size of our Sixth Form, students have the privilege of being able to put together a bespoke programme that can include A Levels or diploma courses that are tailored to their chosen career path or particular area of interest. Upon the successful completion of their course, our students go on to study at university, enter the world of work and/or start their own businesses.
