Curriculum
At St Nicholas Primary School we try to ensure the curriculum is relevant to the pupils in the school and that they find it not only interesting but stimulating at the same time. The small school has a family ethos. It is rich with many cultures joining together in mutual respect, trust and fairness. They have fostered strong community links at local, national and global levels and included a wide range of people, schools, businesses and professional bodies to help us ensure that learning is at the heart of all that they do. The big heart ensures that children and adults know they are cared for socially, morally, spiritually and emotionally. Safeguarding our children is of key importance. They do this with them so that they can access a curriculum that is challenging, broad and balanced. They all strive to: Be the Best They Can Be.

Features

Things to note

After School Club
St Nicholas Primary now has an After School Club. The After School Club is open for pupils within our school (from FS2 to Year 6) and runs from 3.15PM to 5.30PM. The last pick up time is strictly 5.30pm. The club costs a flat rate of £4 per session. Bookings can only be made via the School Money service and all bookings should be paid for on the app, at the time of booking.

Extra Curricular Clubs
It is important for children to have school clubs to attend that will help them find and discover their interests and talents. Clubs also help to broaden children’s thinking and give opportunities for informal fun learning that sometimes the classroom cannot facilitate.
