The Young Women’s Hub is an independent school DFE registered with a charitable status. The school was established in 2017. The Young Women’s Hub is based in Catford and located in the London Borough of Lewisham.
Facilities
The school provides full-time, alternative education for students with SMEH needs, SEN, attachment difficulties and/or additional complex needs.
The Hub offers an holistic wraparound service in a safe and nurturing all female environment. They prides ourselves on high level of pastoral care and safeguarding expertise, for the most vulnerable young women. They combine this with high-quality teaching, small classes, and with a broad, balanced vocational curriculum, focusing on building essential life skills and resilience.

Things to note
The curriculum is based on creative and vocational ways of learning in a much smaller learning environment. The curriculum offer includes: Prince’s Trust “Achieve Programme”, which focuses on transferable life skills; ASDAN short courses, which includes humanities and science; and functional skills in English and Maths.
Key aim is to understand and address the issues each individual student is facing. The end goal is for students to acquire the life skills and maturity needed to be successful in the next phase of their life, whether it be an apprenticeship, college or work.
