Education My Life Matters is a Lewisham based Independent School and Alternative Provision with objective to reconnect, reengage and empower the learner who could possibly be at risk of becoming the subject of permanent exclusion for kids aged 11 to 16.

Facilities

  • They have a range of classroom rooms, meeting rooms and a hall available for hire to businesses and the local community for events that take place during the evenings and on weekends.
  • The Main Hall is suitable for performing arts, fitness/dance/martial arts classes as well as conferences, events meetings. The maximum capacity is 150 people.
  • Conference room has a maximum capacity of 6 - 8 people.
  • Classrooms can be used for many activities such as adult education, slimming groups, training, interviews and group activities.

Selection Criteria: Selective

Admission Details

  • Stage One: On receiving a referral request, the school will make telephone contact with you
  • Stage Two: You will receive a referral form (including a comprehensive Risk Assessment) which will need be to completed in full and returned to EMLM
  • Stage Three: On receiving your completed form and reviewing your supporting evidence, EMLM will decide if we are able to meet the needs of your learner
  • Stage Four: EMLM will arrange an initial interview with the learner and the necessary parties (referee, school, parent/care, social worker etc)
  • Stage Five: A place will be offered to the learner or a referral to an onwards provision will be advised.
