Selection Criteria: Selective

Admission Details

Third Form Entry: At this point they will also seek a reference from your child's School. On receipt of a satisfactory reference and results in the ISEB Common Pre-Tests, and after your visit, a decision about whether to offer your child a place will be made. 

Sixth Form Entry: Applicants are required to achieve a minimum of Grade 6 in six subjects at GCSE/ IGCSE, which are relevant to their proposed A Level choices. However, candidates intending to study A Level Maths, Sciences or Languages are required to achieve a minimum of Grade 7 at GCSE/IGCSE in the relevant subjects. Overseas candidates - not taking GCSE/IGCSE are required to achieve the equivalent standard in their final examinations. Where English is not a candidate’s first language, UKiset results or a Cat4/GL Assessment is required and they will only proceed with applications where this has been provided.

Scholarships

Stowe awards Scholarships each year in recognition of proven talent at Third Form and Sixth Form Entry. Candidates may apply for more than one Scholarship; however, candidates cannot be awarded both an Academic Scholarship and a Roxburgh Scholarship. All scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the Scholarships and Bursaries Committee. A typical Scholarship at Stowe is worth 5% of the School Fee. If your child is applying for a Scholarship and requires additional bursary support, please contact Admissions to obtain a Financial Circumstances Form.
