Oak Heights is a small secondary independent school attended by students from the age of 11 to 16 years. It aims to establish strong academic foundations, achieve outstanding examination results and engender a mature and independent attitude vital for taking advantage of life’s opportunities.

Facilities

  • Performing arts provides children with a means of self-expression.
  • In Oak Heights school, pupils stage Shakespeare’s texts, plays such as Inspector Calls and other novels related to the curriculum.
  • Oak Heights School has a wide and varying number of activities which are offered to all students. Swimming, Football, Netball, trampolining, cricket, tennis and badmington are a key activity at our school, as are Art and Drama.
  • Over the academic year, the School organises several trips to the Theatre in London, Museums, Science workshops and adventure courses / educational trips.
  • During excursion trips students have the option to learn climbing, abseiling and archery as well raft building. In addition, some pupils participate in annual events such as Race for Life.

Admission Details

A select number of enthusiastic and determined children will be selected to study each year. To apply to the school, you must simply call to book an appointment. The entrance procedure at Oak Heights is then based on various stages, outlined upon application. Parents should note that Oak Heights are not just looking for children that score highly in entrance examination. The Admissions Committee evaluates each applicant on the basis of the mentioned stages. The regulation of class sizes means competition for places will be fierce, and so admission can often be influenced by references.

Fees

School:

  • £2000 per term / 3 terms a year (Termly Option)
  • £500 per month / 12 months(Monthly Option)
  • £900 service charge per year per child
  • £30 per month / Booster (Science, Maths, English only)- Members [Live online sessions]
  • £40 per month / Booster (per subject)- Members only
  • £30 - £60 per hour / 1 to 1 tuition lessons in English and Maths only
