We fully exploit the free travel options available to us, as well as the many London museums that offer free entry to children. These outings are carefully designed and organised by class teachers to enhance children's learning across the curriculum.
They believe that educational visits are an integral part of the curriculum and learning experience for every child. Appropriately planned visits and visitors enhance and enrich learning and improve attainment, and so form a key part of what makes Hollymount Primary School a supportive, effective and exciting learning environment. They want to ensure that every child has the best start to life and they are aware that the cultural experiences between children and families can be different and the purpose of the cultural capital events is to help close this gap.
