Broadoak Primary School is a state primary school for kids age 3 - 11 (Gender - Mixed)
They currently have 476 children on roll. the aim is to provide all children with meaningful and engaging learning experiences that will prepare them for life in the 21st century. At Broadoak Primary School they are very proud of the pupils and their successes. They offer personalised learning for our young people, within an inclusive, engaging learning environment. The friendly staff team is clearly committed to providing a secure and happy place in which to learn, one in which all children are able to thrive socially, emotionally and academically to achieve their full potential. They believe that education is a partnership between pupils, teacher and parents working together to foster and develop a life long love of learning. Curriculum
The broad and balanced curriculum aims to develop in children a curiosity and fascination of the world around us. It is our intention that our children will be inquisitive about the world- locally, nationally and globally; to have a sense of awe and wonder about the physical and natural world: places, people, processes, times, changes and development. The curriculum is focused on the development of children’s knowledge and skills across all curriculum subjects. They know learning is defined as changes in long term memory, so they ensure children build upon and recall previous learning to enable them to know more and remember more in the long term. They aim for the children to become happy, resilient and determined life-long learners who are great thinkers, problem solvers and who are fully prepared for further learning and life events ahead of them.

Special Educational Needs
At Broadoak primary school, they believe that all children have a right to a broad, balanced and relevant education, which provides continuity and progression and takes individual differences into account. They aim to provide a curriculum that is appropriate to the needs and abilities of all our children. We plan our teaching and learning in such a way that we enable each child to reach for the highest level of personal achievement.
Before & After School Club
Play Kidds are an Ofsted Approved private provider who operate a before and after school club for Broadoak Primary School during term time. The Breakfast Club takes place in the Key Stage 1 Hall from 7.00am daily where toast or cereal and drinks are provided. Children are then escorted to class. The After School Club takes place in the Key Stage 1 Hall from 3.30pm - 5.30pm. Play Kidds staff collect the children from school and take them to the club each day.
