Park Road Sale Primary School is a vibrant school where children are enthusiastic and motivated to achieve endless possibilities. The children are at the heart of every decision we make to ensure that they are happy, confident and that the opportunities which are provided for them are relevant to their needs, both now and for the future. The school sets high standards. They have high expectations of what the children can achieve and strive to inspire all children to develop a love of learning so they make good progress and attain their very best; becoming confident and successful individuals in the changing world.Basic skills in literacy and numeracy are vital and they aim to ensure that each individual child attains the best possible standards in maths and English.

Curriculum
At Park Road Sale Primary School, they aim to provide an engaging, inclusive, broad and balanced curriculum, which is tailored to all of the pupils and their needs. The curriculum inspires, enthuses and challenges children so they are able to pursue their own interests and acquire the necessary knowledge and skills which equip them for now and in the future. At Park Road, our intention is to develop, within the children, the skills of collaboration, independence, creativity, curiosity, responsibility, resilience and respect for the opinions and beliefs of others. The curriculum extends opportunity, raises aspiration, opens children’s eyes to the world beyond their immediate environment and enables the children to live happy, healthy and productive lives.

Things to note

SEN
They believe in an being an inclusive school and providing the best inclusive education possible which meets the needs of all the children. The Special Education Needs Coordinator, Mrs Chadwick, is very experienced in this role and leads the provision for children with special needs from identifying the specific needs of the individual child to coordinating the support needed.If parents have a concern, they should contact their child’s teacher in the first instance and they will then discuss a way forward with the SENCO, who will arrange for  appropriate support to be provided and assessments to be undertaken if necessary

Clubs
At Park Road Sale Primary School, staff give up their feee time to run extra curricular clubs and they are therefore very lucky to have an extensive and diverse range of extracurricular clubs to extend the children’s learning. Clubs range from sports to arts, from science to geography and from music to games.
