That is why at Bridgewater School, they like to give young individuals an early idea of how inspiring and enjoyable school life can be. The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is an integral part of the Prep Department; many of our most successful students began their academic journey here, developing an early sense of self in a safe, friendly place that gives them the space to express themselves for the very first time.

From the age of 3 we embrace our local environment and encourage the children to appreciate its beauty and wonder. As the children develop we gradually widen our pupil’s experiences of the world beyond the classroom through visits to local places of interest.
