They are proud of the fact our children gain entrance to a wide range of the UK’s top public schools, and proud to say that their success thereafter is in no small part attributable to their fine start.
EARLY YEARS
The families often observe what sets the Nursery apart is the fact that the children are already learning and so they ask of the children this simple tenet: The excellent staff ratio ensures that one-to-one attention can often be given and the staff have the time to get to know each child as an individual. They accept children from 2.5 years old. Children will be able to attend the Nursery flexibly e.g. a flexible number of sessions on the days of their choosing. They create an environment both indoors and outdoors with a perfect balance of both child-initiated and adult-led activities, that enables children to learn specific skills.
JUNIOR PREPARATORY
The Junior Prep at Terra Nova School is a wonderful place to learn and the children absolutely thrive here. Pupils join the Junior Prep in Year 1 and are part of this section of the School until the end of Year 4. The educational philosophy is centered around fostering a growth mindset and enforcing a positive can-do approach where children are left with a thirst to take risks and enjoy challenges, equipping them for life in the 21st century. They want the pupils to be confident, well-rounded deep thinkers who never stop questioning. For this to happen, we ensure learning experiences have real relevance, purpose, and authenticity.
