St Neot's School is Independent Secondary school in Non-selective for kids aged 2 to 13 (Gender - 2 to 13 )
St Neot’s Prep inspires children to develop a love of learning in a supportive and happy environment. St Neot's is a school where family values are promoted and celebrated. It defines who they are as a school and how they engage with each other. The school values are born out of the School Values Day where children, staff, parents and Governors were all asked to contribute to what the core school values should be. As a community this brings St Neot's together with a shared purpose and vision.
Nursery
Tiny Tuskers (ages 2 to 3) and Tuskers (pre-school year) is a truly unique childcare setting for our youngest learners. The dedicated and highly skilled nursery team provide a high quality early years education, which encompases all of the curriculum areas of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).Teaching and learning in our Nursery is designed to develop and encourage independent learning. The experiences are well planned based on a child’s spontaneous play, both indoors and outdoors. Your child will also benefit from outstanding teaching from subject specialists, further enhancing and enriching their day.
Pre Prep
The very start of your child’s mainstream schooling education. Here they aim to provide the very best opportunities for your child. A good balance of academics, the outside, and outstanding pastoral care all mixed up with a healthy dose of fun and laughter. They believe that children learn best when they are happy and feel settled. With the right levels of support and encouragement they endeavour to foster a love of learning in each child, right from the start. Much like the many trees that fill our playground; with strong, deep roots from day one, children will grow to become successful, confident learners.
Prep
The Prep School is staffed with exemplary, passionate subject specialist teachers, who ensure that every child in the care receives the very best educational experience possible.Building on the solid foundations developed in Pre-Prep, pupils enter the Prep School in Year 3 (age 7-8 years) and spend two years in what is known as the 'Middle School' before joining the ‘Main School’ in Year 5. Prep is housed in a picturesque Victorian building which has been modernised, extended and considerably updated to provide state of the art facilities and resources.
Outdoor Learning
The beautiful 70 acre woodland setting provides our children with a world of opportunity to embrace the outdoor classroom. The engaging curriculum gives children a dedicated Outdoor Learning lesson every week, with the opportunity to learn a wide range of life skills. From Nursery to Year 2, Forest School gives children time and space to develop skills, interests and understanding through activities which provide hands-on experiences in a natural environment. With a focus on nature awareness and environmental stewardship, we teach children to respect the environment they live in, fostering a positive relationship with, and an appreciation of the natural world.
Art
The Art department at St Neot`s is a joyful happy place with many interesting cross- curricular projects. It is a place where children from Year 1 to 8 learn how to draw, paint, print and work with ceramics and textiles. They learn about many famous artists, sculptors and architects and explore their work. We visit museums, galleries, festivals and have many inspiring opportunities to work with visiting artists and creative professionals. Students can also attend a lunch time or after school club which gives them opportunity to further expand their skills using a variety of media and enriches their scholarship portfolio submissions for future schools.
Sport
Sport is an integral part of school life at St Neot’s and teaches all pupils valuable lessons to take with them throughout life. The main aims of the Sports Programme for pupils at St Neot’s is to: Be physically active in a range of different activities. Be good sportsmen and women, gracious in defeat or victory. Strive to achieve our very best in every task, be it competitive or friendly games. Foster a lifelong love of physical activity, leading to benefits in health, wellbeing and self-confidence

Music is part of the fabric of life at St Neot’s. They aim to foster a love of music in every child, from the very beginning of their St Neot’s journey. From their start in Tiny Tuskers, children visit the Music Department once a week, building their confidence by singing songs and playing percussion instruments.
