Admission Details

St Augustine’s Priory operates a selective entry procedure. Selection is based upon academic merit and potential, which is assessed through an entry examination or classroom assessment, an interview at the school and references from the candidate’s previous school or educational setting. The selection process is designed to identify pupils who are able to benefit from our balanced and well-rounded education and to make a positive contribution towards the life of the school.

Fees

Nursery 8.00am – 6.00pm: (full day)   £5,167 per term or £15,501 a year
Nursery 8.30-3.30pm: (full school day)   £4,248 per term or £12,744
Nursery 8.00am – 1.00pm:  (mornings only) or 1.00pm- 6.00pm (afternoons only)   £2,583 per term or £7,749 a year
Pre-Preparatory Department:   £4,512 per term or £13,536 a year
Prep Department:   £5,046 per term or £15,138 a year
Senior Department:   £6,042 per term or £18,126 a year

Scholarships

11+ Scholarships: Pupils in Upper II (Year 6) are eligible to apply for one scholarship only and may choose from the following:

  • Academic
  • Art
  • Drama
  • Music
  • Sport

16+ Scholarships: Pupils in Upper V (Year 11) are eligible to apply for one scholarship only and may choose from the following:

Full Academic: The Mary Tredway Award is full scholarship worth 100% of tuition fees

Subject Specific Scholarships:

  • Classics Subjects: Latin or Classical Civilisation
  • Creative Subjects: Art, Drama or Music
  • English Literature
  • Humanities Subjects: History, Geography or Religious Studies
  • Maths & Science (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Physical Education or Physics)
  • Modern Languages – French, Russian or Spanish (this is also available at 14+ when pupils are in Year 9)
