Rosetta Primary School

Description

Rosetta Primary School is a State Primary School for kids aged 4 to 11 (Gender - co educational )

They are a very successful school based in Custom House in the London Borough of Newham, very close to the DLR and the Excel Exhibition Centre. They provide an engaging, exciting and relevant education for all of our children and they love coming to school. They are very proud of the school's many achievements and believe this is because they work in partnership with the children, families, staff and the local and wider communities. Rosetta Primary School was recently placed in the top 1% of schools in the country for the progress that the children make whilst at our school; this is a fantastic achievement and one that we are extremely proud of.

They provide the children with an engaging, exciting and empowering curriculum that equips them for today and tomorrow. At Rosetta they aim to equip all the children with the knowledge and skills to become responsible global citizens who positively contribute to and collaborate in the world today as well as preparing them for the future. They have written our curriculum with the Rosetta pupils in mind. It has been carefully thought through and sequenced and has evolved and developed over time using the expertise of our teachers at all levels in order to encompass depth and breadth of subject knowledge, maximise progress in learning, develop a range of skills and enable all of the pupils to become confident and creative learners as they move through the school.

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
At the heart of our ambition for Rosetta Primary School is our commitment to providing the very best for all children to enjoy and achieve. This includes having the widest possible range of opportunities both within and beyond the curriculum. They offer extra-curricular opportunities through various types of provision delivered by school staff, external providers and independent clubs – all with a view to increasing the range of experiences that the children have, enabling them to make informed choices for adult life. Activities are designed to be educational, fun and cater for a wide variety of interests. They want to offer the scope for each and every child to find a passion, develop a talent, spark an interest or simply find pleasure in doing an activity with others. After-school clubs are a fantastic way of achieving this and we are excited to offer a wide range of clubs from singing and art, to hockey and cheerleading, computing and Forest School.
