Description

Faraday School is Independent Primary school in Tower Hamlets for kids aged 4 to 11 (Gender - Mixed )

Founded in 2009, Faraday is a small but growing independent primary school in East London. The school’s riverside location provides a magical environment and access to a stimulating, creative community that offers exciting learning opportunities for the pupils and staff. Here at Faraday, we are committed to giving every child a first-class education, with small classes, quality teaching and a personal approach. In these formative years they hope to inspire a love of learning and that this desire to explore, grow and create will stay with our pupils for life. We place a strong focus on literacy and numeracy, with a targeted approach that enables each child to progress at their own level.

Facilities

At Faraday, they have an exciting and innovative knowledge-based curriculum that provides continuity and progression between years and takes individual differences between children into account. The curriculum and teaching methods aim above all at the transmission of knowledge, which they believe is the best way to inspire a child with the thirst for a wider and deeper understanding of the world. It lays the foundations for an expanding grasp of a wide range of subjects later on in education. The approach ensures the children's intellectual horizons are progressively expanded beyond their everyday experience. They also provide our pupils with opportunities to take part in sport and creative arts such as Art, Music, Drama and Dance. Residential trips, excursions and activities within the local community enhance our pupils' educational experience and help them to develop their confidence and independence.
