PRE-PREP
Little Court is our pre-prep department, housed in its own dedicated building, but very much an integral part of the school. Taught in small classes by experienced teachers and qualified teaching assistants; it is here where our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children make huge progress.They offer a rich learning environment and lay strong foundations at the start of each child’s educational career. Progress is closely monitored, and teaching is tailored so that every child can achieve their true potential.
NURSERY
The Nursery provides a rich and stimulating environment that builds on each child’s needs and interests. We take a very multi-sensory approach to the curriculum.Activities and experiences are practical based and very much hands-on. We believe children in The Nursery learn best through play, and this helps make learning meaningful, engaging, suitably challenging, and most of all fun. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage guidelines for development in the prime and specific areas of learning.
PREP SCHOOL
The Prep School is where the children truly make their mark in these crucial growth years. A generous pupil-teacher ratio and small class sizes ensure that each child's progress is recognised and encouraged in a supportive and stimulating environment. They are committed to providing the very best educational experience for our pupils and we support them through these vital learning years. Our pupils look forward to coming to school and demonstrate a passion for learning.

CLUBS
Alongside the breakfast club, Court Jesters and Court Squires, we have a full range of seasonal, cultural, sporting, and creative clubs; these include LTA Tennis, Swim Squad, Ballet, Touch Rugby, Touch Typing, Food Tech Club, Design Club, Lego, Mindfulness Colouring, Drama, Young Magicians, Knit and Natter Club, Chess Club, Disco Dancing, Little Court Disco and Bush Craft.
WEEKLY ENRICHMENT
The activities enable children to work collaboratively as part of a team, exercise leadership qualities and develop a wide range of skills that enhance their learning both inside and outside the classroom.The programme runs on Friday afternoons, and each year group, (sometimes split into forms) participate in a rotation of activities like Drama, Lego Robotics, Forest School, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and GoCuriosity sessions (for more information on this, please visit GoCuriosity). In addition, each term, groups of children visit Reed's School to use their facilities, including the Cricket Centre and FutureTech building, for a co-curricular curriculum in a carousel of activities.
