Facilities
After School Clubs: They have an abundance of extra-curricular clubs which they offer to the children at lunchtimes and after school. They offer a full range of sporting, creative, learning and social experiences including: multi-skills, football, crafts, streetdance, poetry reciting ….the list is endless!! They firmly believe that education is about developing lifelong learning habits, and does not take place solely between 8.40 and 3.10. The aim is for every KS1 and KS2 child to experience at least one extra-curricular club or represent the school at an out of school event. After school clubs run 3:10-4:00pm, please collect your child from the main office.
Forest School: Each week the children benefit from learning outdoors as part of the Forest School experience. They are fortunate to have very own outdoor area on site that has a pond and is brimming with wildlife. They have a variety of newly planted trees and flowers that are attracting many visitors! They aim to promote a positive relationship between children and the outdoors and to develop their understanding of the natural world. Children learn about lots of curriculum areas during forest school, whilst enjoying the benefits of being outdoors. As it gets colder, please send your child to school in warm clothing on their forest school day. They will also need a hat, scarf and gloves as well as a waterproof coat and wellies.
