Frobel Independent School is a new independent day school situated in the Borough of Barking and Dagenham. They can proudly state that we are the first non-faith independent school in Barking. They are a secondary school educating years 7 through to 11. The school aims to have 15 students per year group, with a total number of 75 pupils. 

Facilities

  • Sport at Frobel Independent School is important for many reasons. Sport and exercise have obvious physical and mental health benefits. They promote strength and endurance, aiding to be better more active workers.
  • Alongside this, sport also teaches teamwork, leadership, the ability to focus, competitiveness and discipline. All these qualities are important in producing confident, inspiring leaders of the next generation.
  • There is a role in sport and exercise for everyone, they encourage all students to participate in all activities, enabling them to find where their passions and talents lie.

Things to note

At Frobel Independent School they firmly believe education is not just about outstanding academia, but should be about exploring creativity, flourishing talent, developing personal and social skills and building the holistic child. Through these experiences pupils will obtain qualities which strive towards excellence in all areas of life and aspire to be role models of future generations. At present, due to small class sizes, they are able to incorporate all types of extra-curricular activities within school time. They also intend to offer after school clubs. They have lessons and full days to celebrate a particular “National Day” or “World Week” related to an issue of relevance or an area, which will enrich the social, spiritual, or cultural development of the students.

Fees

Fees effective from 1 September 2021:

  • Registration fee – £425 (new pupils)
  • Year 7 – £6000 annually / £2000 per term
  • Year 8 – £6000 annually / £2000 per term
  • Year 9 – £6000 annually / £2000 per term
  • Year 10 – £8000 annually / £3000 term 1 and 2, £2000 term 3
  • Year 11 – £8000 annually / £3000 term 1 and 2, £2000 term 3

Paid either annually or a total of 3 instalments before the start of each term.
