Fairfield is a special school that caters for up to eight pupils between the ages of eight and 25 years with autism spectrum disorder, severe learning difficulties, complex health needs and challenging behaviours.

Fairfield House School is an Independent Special School for students who may struggle within a generic classroom environment.
Fairfield House School offers specialist education and care for children and young people aged between 8 – 25 years who experience autism and complex learning and behavioural needs. The curriculum is informed by principles of outbound and situational learning, for those who cannot cope with a traditional classroom setting.
They have recently been granted approval to extend the capacity and age range to educate students up to the age of 25 by the Department for Education. They are able to offer a range of placement options including:
Fully residential care and education placement (38 or 52 weeks) - including those who have been excluded from other settings.
Shared educational placements; offering part-time support so the young person can remain in a school placement successfully.

Also a registered ASDAN training centre for young adults with learning disabilities. They learn through 'doing', by increasing community integration and life skills. They are committed to providing a safe, nurturing yet stimulating environment for young people to meet their full potential.
