Brewood School is a co- educational, independent, specialist day school providing high quality education for secondary aged boys and girls. Based in Kent, the school meets the needs of a diverse group of pupils with special educational needs including speech, language and communication difficulties, autism, ADHD, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.

The outcomes of the curriculum are highly individual. However, they strive for all young people to leave the school with a range of accredited qualifications and the independence skills to follow their chosen pathways.

They are an inclusive school and all teaching focuses on providing intensive support for students as individuals who have individual strengths and weaknesses. They offer a range of qualifications and bespoke educational programmes that give every student the opportunity to attain. One-to-one support is provided when appropriate and are always flexible. They aim to put young people at the centre of their own learning and place great emphasis on nurturing skills and attitudes such as resourcefulness, resilience, and cooperation. The curriculum at Brewood is individualised, creative, innovative and flexible, allowing for the needs of each pupil to be met. They promote the social, moral, spiritual and cultural development of our pupils as well as their intellectual and physical development. They provide a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum. Some subjects are taught discretely while others are covered via alternative curriculum approach.
