Bicker Preparatory School and Early Years is Independent Primary school in Lincolnshire for kids aged 3 to 11 (Gender - Mixed )

They believe in a child centred approach to education because every child is unique. They offer small classes of under 20 children. The Curriculum is broad and rich – they believe passionately in offering  enrichment opportunities – such as Forest School, links with the community and inviting visitors in to share their expertise and experiences out of the classroom.,They believe children are active investigators and explorers, They believe children are  imaginative creators, They believe children are reasoners and problem solvers, They believe children are capable communicators, They believe children can be supported to form resilient relationships, They believe children are the protectors of the Earth

Facilities

Curriculum
They offer a rich and broad curriculm, Indoor and outdoor learning environments are equally valued. They value the use of the Environmental Area, the Nature Reserve and the Community. They enhance the curriculum with enrichment opportunities using trips, visits and visitors to enhance the learning experience. The non core curriculum is vital in developing our children holistically. A wide range of experiences are valued alongside a knowledge focus. Theey do not narrow the curriculum.

Forest School
They are passionate about Forest School and the educational benefits of it. Bicker Preparatory School and Early Years has it’s own Environmental Area and is led by qualified staff. Forest School is an important part of the Curriculum. It builds an understanding and respect for the natural world and the planet. It encourages independent and creative learning.

Private Music Tuition
They offer: Piano, Guitar, Violin and Ekulele. We have a Specialist Music Teacher delivering music lessons. 

Discovery Sport
They have a Specialist PE Teacher delivering a range of skill based activities.

Admission Details

Children are eligible for the Early Years Entitlement which offers up to 25 hours funding at 3 years and up to and including the term in which they become 5.
