Nursery
The Banstead Prep Nursery offers our youngest children the opportunity to develop through play, helping them to feel confident and safe in the school environment, while ensuring they’re given the best start to their time at our school.To really encourage the most from children all the way through the school it’s vital that we get it right, right from the very start. Every child learns, progresses and succeeds in their own way at their own pace.By investing in our youngest children from the minute they join us, encouraging their interests, promoting kindness and compassion, and teaching them how to learn, we forge strong relationships and instil good habits, a ‘can do’ attitude and a love of learning they can take with them as they continue through the school.
Prep School

Extra-Curricular Activities
The enrichment programme offers variety, allowing each pupil to broaden their experience, strengthen skills and build new friendship groups.Activities challenge and stimulate children in their free time and are designed to give them the opportunity to try new things, and to discover new talents and passions. Many of the activities are free of charge unless run by an external specialist provider. Activities take place immediately after lunch or after school, meaning that they are accessible to all to enjoy. Each term there is an opportunity to try new or different clubs.
Remote Learning
During the period of school closure from 4 January – 8 March 2021, Banstead Prep School children continued their education at home. The children had a weekly timetable, similar to their usual schedule (available to download below). Lessons were a combination of live teaching and pre-recorded lessons, using Microsoft Teams, and teachers were available real-time online to help with the tasks set and provide feedback.
