Wild Place Project is a fun family attraction that provides outdoor adventure, play and learning. Meet amazing animals from across the world from the mischievous lemurs of Madagascar to magnificent European brown bears.
They aim to inspire families to enjoy nature with a number of outdoor adventures, from discovering wildlife from the UK and around the world with our seasonal themed trails, to exploring the woods and clambering in the undercover Fun Fort. Or simply enjoy a great range of hot food and drinks in our quaint guest village.

WILD ANIMAL ADVENTURES
In the space of a few hundred yards, you can see giraffes from Cameroon, lemurs from Madagascar, and gelada baboons from Ethiopia.
Within a short walk, there is award-winning Bear Wood with brown bears, lynxes, wolves, and wolverines living in the natural surroundings these species would have done in England thousands of years ago.

PLAY AREA
Climb up the scramble net, run across the scatter bridge, slide down the fireman’s pole and take on the climbing wall at the Fun Fort! Our undercover kids' adventure park is the perfect place for little ones to burn off some energy come rain or shine, and there's lots of seating for grown ups.
LEAP OF FAITH
Leap of Faith is an outdoor climbing adventure experience and fantastic fun for all the family. The whole experience takes around 40 minutes, including safety briefing, with amazing climbing challenges, and our namesake the 'Leap of Faith' jump.
BAREFOOT TRAIL
Throw off your shoes and walk across lots of different textures including pebbles, bark, soil and everybody's favourite - mud! There are mini challenges to do along the way (can you creep up on your friends like a sneaky wolf?), and the trail is set among beautiful trees, plants and wild flowers.
WALLED GARDEN
The Walled Garden is home to our mob of mischievous meerkats, a family of Kirk's dik-diks (one of the smallest antelopes in the world), and many exotic birds.
