Things to note

At the Lowen School we believe that for our students to thrive we must recognise and celebrate their individuality, their unique learning strengths and personal aspirations. Many students will have found previous educational settings difficult. At the Lowen school it is our resolute belief that if our students are to thrive in our school we must understand and work with students strengths and when barriers to their learning occur, support them to overcome these.

Admission Details

Choosing the right school is vital. On receiving an appropriate referral we undertake an initial assessment working with parents, the potential student and key stakeholders to identify whether the Lowen school is right for them. If we all feel the school is right and a place is commissioned a detail assessment will then inform a transition plan and development of an individual learning plans for the student to start their journey with us at the Lowen School.

  • If you are interested in your child attending The Lowen School, the first stage is to contact your local authority and indicate your preference for The Lowen School.
