Things to note
The school’s primary aim is to improve students’ English skills. They provide a holistic proficiency in English by focusing on both practical language skills – through conversation lessons with British native speakers – and the theoretical knowledge that is a requirement at university entrance examinations in Japan. They monitor each student’s ability closely and carry out regular English assessments.
The second aim is to foster globally minded individuals through international opportunities. They provide a range of cultural exchange activities, including events with local schools. Such opportunities to develop as a cultural ambassador will undoubtedly help students to become more globally minded.
Third aim is growth through campus life. Through communal living, students learn to empathise with and respect others.
Teikyo School students can enter Teikyo Group universities as long as they meet the applicable entry requirements. They can enter any faculty of the Teikyo University Group except for the Department of Medicine. The Department of Chemistry has additional criteria. It is possible for students to take entrance exams of Waseda, Keio, Kansai, Kansai Gakuin, Doshisha, Ritsumei and other state universities while holding their right to enter Teikyo University.
