CURRICULUM - YEARS 7, 8 AND 9 (KEY STAGE 3)
Students follow a common entitlement programme in line with the National Curriculum requirements. The subjects studied are: Art, Drama, English, Geography, History, Computing, Citizenship (PSHE), Mathematics, Modern Languages, Music, Physical Education, Religious Education, Science and Technology. There are three academic reports for KS3 students in the school year – Christmas, Easter and summer. Students will receive one of three grades– Exceptional, Expected or Aspiring – for each subject. Our aim is for all students to be at least ‘Expected’ by the end of the academic year, which means they are on track to achieve at least a Grade 5 at GCSE.

CURRICULUM - YEARS 10 AND 11 (KEY STAGE 4)
Students follow a National Curriculum programme, most subjects leading to certification at GCSE. All students follow courses in the following: English, Citizenship, Mathematics, Physical Education, Religious Education, Science (with the more able students doing three separate Sciences). Students then select three subjects which can be chosen from the following:  Art, Business Studies, Computing, IT, Drama, Geography, Health and Social Care, History, Modern Languages (currently French and Spanish), Music, Physical Education, Textiles, Systems and Control, Food Technology and Resistant Materials. They encourage most students to study a language to GCSE level. Please note – option subjects are revised annually and subject to change.
