St Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary School is supported by strong partnerships with our federated school -St Sebastian’s Catholic Primary School, the Archdiocese of Liverpool, Liverpool City Council and the Parishes of St Oswald’s and St Sebastian’s. They are grateful to have an experienced Governing Body that guides and challenges the work of the school and wants only the very best for the children, families and staff.The safeguarding of our children, families and staff is paramount. After School Club
The ‘After School Club’ aims to provide a secure, happy and stimulating environment enabling all children to learn and develop their attitudes, skills and abilities. They also aim to work with children, parents, carers and staff to share experiences ensuring we provide the best possible care and service for the children. They provide a range of activities to relax children after a hard day of learning. Every day they have a different creative and sporting activity so each session is different to the next. They provide a healthy snack , which the children often help to prepare themselves.
Breakfast Club
St Cuthbert’s Breakfast Club is an essential support system to our working parents and those who are accessing training. Breakfast Club gives the children a positive start to allow them to fully focus on their learning and thrive during the school day. Breakfast is indeed an essential meal of the day; supporting a child’s attention span, concentration and memory – all-important for learning in school.In Breakfast Club, children are offered a choice of cereals, crumpets, toast, fruit juices, milk and water. When children have eaten their breakfast, a variety of activities are available for them to access including art, Lego and other board games. Weather permitting, children are able to partake within activities in the courtyard or alternatively in the outside play area.
