Curriculum
At Our Lady’s Bishop Eton Catholic Primary School our broad and balanced curriculum incorporates the statutory requirements of the National Curriculum and additional exciting and challenging experiences, opportunities and responsibilities which best meet the learning and developmental needs of the pupils in our school. In order to best support the children our curriculum is underpinned by a shared set of values and organised into three strands. Personal, Social, Health & Economic Education(PSHEE), Social, Moral, Spiritual & Cultural(SMSC) Education and IT are taught across and through all three strands.

The SEND Code of Practice 2014 includes the following broad definition: A child or young person has SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) if they have a learning difficulty or disability which calls for special educational provision to be made for them. A child of compulsory school age or a young person has a learning difficulty or disability if they: Have a significantly greater difficulty in learning than the majority of others of the same age, Have a disability which prevents or hinders them from making use of educational facilities of a kind generally provided for others of the. same age in mainstream schools or mainstream post-16 institutions
Breakfast and Afterschool
The Lady’s Bishop Eton Catholic Primary School is pleased to be able to offer both a Breakfast and After School Club to support parents who need this to help with childcare. The dedicated staff aim to provide a quality service with nutritious food and other activities provided in a safe and secure environment. We ask parents to register their requirements on a termly basis. Places are limited for safety and . as such they can not guarantee that all requests for places can be accommodated. Breakfast Club operates from 7.45am to 8.40am at a cost of £5 per day. After School club operates from the end of the school day until 5.30pm at a cost of £10 per day. There is a reduction in cost to £5 if your child is collected by 4pm. Payments must be made in advance.
