Admission Details

St Andrew’s Prep is a non-selective independent day and boarding school for girls and boys from 9 months to 13 years. Day pupils are accepted for all year groups and boarding pupils from Year 3 upwards. Children may join at any stage during the academic year.

Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded to children who show outstanding potential academically or in Art, Drama, Performing Arts, Music or Sport. We offer a tailored programme of provision and support for scholars to enhance, develop and inspire their particular area of talent.

Scholarships are prestigious awards and carry with them privilege and responsibility. The example scholars set will make them natural leaders among their peer group and we hope that they will both enjoy and make the most of the opportunity. Therefore, scholarships are awarded following a strictly moderated open competition.

Assessments are held each Spring Term and are available to external and internal candidates. Scholarships awarded to successful candidates will commence in the Autumn Term following the Spring Term assessments.  The Scholarship booklet for 2024 entry is below.
