South Grove Primary School is a State Primary school for kids aged 3 to 11 (Gender - Mixed )

They are very pleased to welcome you to South Grove Primary School. South Grove is a two-form entry primary school for children from 3-11. The Nursery provides 40 part-time places both morning and afternoon (with some that can become full time). In addition they have a Resourced Provision for 16 children with a diagnosis of Autism and Developmental Global Delay of which they are very proud. This allows children to be fully integrated into the life of the school and equally, access the specialist support that will enable them to develop and grow.
 

Facilities

Nursery
At South Grove Nursery they follow the EYFS curricullum. They aim to provide a happy, caring and stimulating environment where all children are encouraged and supported to reach their full potential. Children are given opportunities to learn through play and 'hands on' experiences both indoors and outdoors. They take part in adult led and child initiated learning activities which deliver the 7 areas of learning contained in the EYFS curricullum.

Parent Workshops
At South Grove they understand that working in partnership is vital in supporting the educational and social development of the children. They regularly hold Parent Workshops and Presentations to support parents in understanding what the children are learning and how it is taught in different Year Groups. Most importantly these are intended to help parents support their child’s learning and encourage them in whatever they are doing.
