Sheredes Primary School is an Independent Primary school for kids aged 3 to 11 (Gender - mix). They are a school passionate about children’s education; the core purpose is to develop a child’s confidence, all round ability and unique talents.
Facilities
Sheredes Primary is situated on an extensive site in a residential area of Hoddesdon, surrounded by mature woodland. They have wide ranging facilities including two halls, an ICT suite and a specialist Music Room. Outside, there is a large playing field, adventure playground and their own woodland area and pond.
Music Lessons: At Sheredes, they are pleased to be able to offer private music lessons to our pupils. At present, peripatetic teachers from the East Herts. Music Centre visit the school to teach guitar. Specialist teachers also teach piano, flute, clarinet and saxophone. In addition to this, a recorder teacher takes small groups of children for recorder lessons. They now also offer stringed instrument tuition. Here is an opportunity to learn violin, cello, double bass, etc.
Children with Special Needs: They are passionate about enabling all children to reach their full potential. Children with special educational needs are identified by the class teacher, who will, in consultation with the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) and the child’s parents/carers, discuss the class teacher’s action plan for the child. The SENCO is Mrs Delyth Greenfield who can be contacted through the school office.
