Queenswood School is a girls-only independent school twenty miles from London. It offers admission at ages 11, 13 or 16 (for sixth form).

Superb facilities, including a the brand new state-of-the-art Queenswood Hall, with retractable bleacher seating for 580 spectators, a 25-metre swimming pool, 29 tennis courts, an aerobics room, a dance studio, a weights room, a nine-hole mini golf course, a polo field, an AstroTurf pitch and grass athletics track.

Around eight shows a year are staged at Queenswood.
Music is central to cultural life here at Queenswood. All girls are encouraged to develop their instrumental and vocal potential, and helping them achieve this is an inspirational staff of 27 visiting musicians led by the Director of Music and his team.
11+ Entry: For pupils from schools not offering the ISEB Common Entrance Examination – girls sit entrance papers in English, Mathematics and Verbal Reasoning at Queenswood in the November prior to entry. For pupils from schools offering the ISEB Common Entrance Examination – they require all CEE applicants to sit at Verbal Reasoning paper at Queenswood in the November prior to entry.
12+/13+/14+ Entry: An assessment day is held at Queenswood in the November prior to the year of entry. Each applicant will be interviewed by the Principal or another senior member of staff. All applicants are required to sit entrance papers in English and Mathematics (with applicants at 13+ required to sit a language paper in French or Spanish if previously studied).
16+ Entry: An assessment day is held at Queenswood in the November prior to entry. Applicants are required to sit entrance examinations in the subjects that they plan to study at A-level. They do not stipulate particular GCSE requirements, although Queenswood Sixth Formers will typically have achieved at least six Grade 6 at GCSE, with Grades 7-9 in the subjects to be studied at A-level.
Queenswood Scholarships are awarded in recognition of outstanding achievement or promise in a particular sphere. The majority of Scholarships are honorary and do not attract financial support; however a small number of awards with fee remission are available for candidates applying for a Music Scholarship who demonstrate excellence coupled with exceptional potential.
Academic Scholarships are available at 11+, 13+ and 16+ (i.e. Sixth Form) entry. Art, Dance, Drama, Music, Hockey, Sports and Tennis Scholarships are available at all entry points. Design and Technology Scholarships are available at 13+ entry and above. All Scholarships are reviewed at 13+ and 16+ to ensure that existing Scholars are still considered eligible.
