Facilities

Nursery
The purpose-built nursery is open for 50 weeks of the year and they offer a variety of fun-filled, stimulating activities that allow children to discover the world and develop outstanding learning habits such as the ability to express themselves by sharing their thoughts, learning to read and write, recognising numbers and gaining interpersonal skills. The sessions are developed by Early Years Experts who create daily schedules and take into consideration each child's individual interests to ensure their day is filled with activities they enjoy. The aim is to ensure children develop a love for learning and reach their potential, and they'll ensure you notice the difference in your child as the experienced practicioners understand how best to shape young minds. 

Pre-Prep
At Pre-Prep, our subject matter experts students build upon the English and Maths knowledge they developed during their early years. They also equip children with additional knowledge, expanding on the Key Stage 1 government-recommended curriculum by encouraging pupils to develop a love for languages with the introduction of French which sees pupils interacting with one another in the language. The science classes are also special with sessions allowing students to seek explanations to all their unanswered questions about the world and to delve into areas that really fascinate them, and they art sessions are the ideal place for children to express themselves which allows them to develop their individual identities.

Prep
At Prep School, teachers focus on providing a strong academic foundation for students to prepare them for Senior School. Teachers also offer personalised feedback on the work set to ensure every child is aware of the level they're at and how to improve. The academic success the pupils achieve is enviable and they aim to build your child’s workload as they progress throughout the school. They are pleased that many of our children go onto join local grammar schools and our engaging, broad, and carefully-crafted curriculum ensures that your child is ready for the demands of the next stage of their education, with the majority of students going onto excel at independent senior schools.

Culture
Throughout your child’s time at Lady Lane, they will be expected to treat other people, cultures, and experiences with kindness and curiosity with the various school trips offered to places of interest. Modern Foreign Languages are also taught throughout the school, further fostering understanding of different societies and enabling your child to develop a sensitivity to others. They also place an emphasis on drama and dance, encouraging children to participate in school plays to develop their self-confidence. Academic achievements are highly valued, but we also aim for excellence in all other areas to ensure your child develops unique interests and talents whilst maintaining an enthusiastic and positive approach to learning.

Sports
They believe that one of our strongest areas, as well as our brilliant academic performance, is the physical education provision and outdoor activities. By the time your child reaches the prep school, they will have developed an enthusiastic interest in sport and will be encouraged to develop a friendly competitive nature. Sporting activities are offered throughout the year, and your child will have the opportunity to participate in football, netball, rounders, ju-jitsu and cricket.This also encourages a strong sense of personal achievement, teamwork and contributes to our excellent reputation in all aspects of physical education and we are pleased to have achieved great success throughout the local area and to be recognised for our sporting excellence.

Nursery - £26.50 per half day session (8.30am – 11.30am or 12.30pm – 3.30pm)
Nursery - Lunchtime provision - £10.50 (11.30a.m -12.30p.m)

Infant Department            
Kindergarten (Nursery) – Form 3 (Year 2) - £2,935 per term

Junior Department  
Form 4 (Year 3) – Upper VI (Year 6) - £2,935 per term
