Features

Things to note

  • Drama plays an important role in stimulating a sense of community at the Junior School, giving children the opportunity to explore their identity and talents through the arts. From a young age, they encourage pupils to enjoy all aspects of the performing arts; acting, singing, dancing or writing.
  • Co-curricular activities set aside ample time for bright young minds to pursue their interests. Arts and crafts, baking, broad minds, chess, languages … the list goes on.
  • Outdoor visits and residential trips.
  • They give every pupil the opportunity to immerse themselves in musical life packed with performances, from assemblies to whole school concerts. Renowned musicians host workshops with pupils of all abilities, and there are choir performances in the community at various public events.
  • They cater for boys and girls at all levels in a wide variety of sports and encourage a healthy and active lifestyle so that sport becomes central to the school experience.
  • Direct trains to the School’s own station in Frizinghall from Bradford, Skipton, Ilkley and Leeds and many dedicated bus routes make getting to the School straightforward for pupils across Yorkshire.
