JUNIOR SCHOOL: There is no financial assistance for children starting in the Junior School or Junior School pupils progressing from Year 6 to Year 7. Parents will receive information confirming Assessment dates and other details, shortly after the relevant closing date for each year group. Assessment results are mailed out within a few days of your child’s visit. Following an admissions offer, they ask that you confirm acceptance of your child’s place at the Junior School by early March (late March for Year 2). SENIOR SCHOOL: The 2023 entrance examination for Year 7 will take place the week commencing 16 January 2023. The closing date for assessments is Wednesday 4 January. Applications for entry 2023 open on 1 September 2022. Full details of the Year 7 exam and the Assisted Places Assessment will be available during the summer break. Entrance exams for Years 8, 9 and 10 will take place on Monday 9 January 2023. The closing date for these exams is Tuesday 3 January 2023. Applications open on 1 September 2022. SIXTH FORM: They welcome numerous students into Sixth Form from a wide range of schools. You will be invited for interviews so they can find out more about you, your interests and your talents. They will also ask to see recent school reports and will request a reference from your current school, including your predicted GCSE grades.
