EGHS girls are encouraged to partake in a range of school activities such as world mental health day, careers events and charitable causes. Outside speakers, such as the local MP, the police, fire service and people from a variety of public and private organisations regularly visit the school to share their experiences with students. They constantly aim to widen the opportunities and experiences offered to students both inside and outside the formal classroom.
