Facilities
Despite being close to central London, they have excellent access to high-class sports facilities. Bales is a very short walk from the Moberly sports centre, a state-of-the-art complex that includes a gymnasium, 2 swimming pools, 2 indoor basketball courts and 8 badminton courts. Years 7 to 9 have 3+ hours of sport at Moberly per week including swimming, football, basketball/netball, and badminton. Bales also have walking access to a variety of outdoor sports pitches, athletics tracks and basketball courts.

School trips are extremely valuable to the educational, cultural and social development of students, and form an integral component of the Bales academic curriculum. Local day trips are undertaken regularly for all year groups.
Studying Art & Design at Bales exposes children to a variety of techniques including drawing, painting, sculpture, printing and ceramics. The quality of artwork produced by students across all year groups is outstanding. Each child is encouraged to explore and experiment while developing their technical art-making skills.
