Pre Prep
The Montessori philosophy and the school’s traditional values enable children to thrive at their own pace and blossom within the nurturing and stimulating environment. Children attend the Pre-Prep from the age of 2 ½ to 5 at either the Westcliff or Thorpe Bay premises. On each site they have a Lower Nursery and Upper Nursery, while both Reception classes are at the Thorpe Bay site. Throughout the year we provide many opportunities for the whole Pre-Prep community to come together to celebrate events and to utilise our shared facilities.

Children can opt in on an ad hoc basis and have an excellent choice of activities that inspire, challenge and provide great enjoyment and enrichment.

They are proud of our extensive fixtures programme, offering all our pupils the opportunity to compete against a range of other Independent and local schools. They have built up great relationships with sporting associations and schools to provide these fantastic opportunities.Alongside the fixtures below, the pupils at Alleyn all play competitive 'House' fixtures on a regular basis.
