Yavneh College is a high achieving, friendly and supportive school, strongly committed to the pursuit of academic excellence together with an emphasis on nurturing each pupil’s talents and interests. These aims are underpinned by the school’s motto, ‘A world built on kindness,’ engendering an atmosphere of mutual respect and community and making it a fantastic place to work. Each year the pupils raise thousands of pounds for charity, organising events and sponsored activities. They act as leaders and volunteers in a variety of community settings and really make a difference.
 

Facilities

KS3
All pupils study English language, English literature, mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, Jewish studies, history, geography, Ivrit (modern Hebrew), French or Spanish, computing & information technology, physical education, art, music, drama and design & technology. PSHCE (Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education) is integrated into many areas of the curriculum, including form time and the Jewish studies programme, which is where we also deliver our Relationships and Sex Education.

KS4
Most pupils study 9 GCSEs or iGCSEs, Either: English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Double Award Science, Religious Studies

Sixth Form
Since its inauguration in 2006, the Sixth Form at Yavneh College has gone from strength to strength. At Yavneh College Sixth Form we aim to create ambitious and independent learners equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge and experiences to support and prepare them to progress successfully into their chosen future pathways. Outstanding teaching is at the core of Yavneh Sixth Form.
