Wings School Cumbria is a nurturing independent specialist residential and day school for children who are aged 10 - 17 and have social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).

The school is set within extensive grounds; facilities include full sized football pitches, a sports hall, moto-cross and buggy track, playground and a small on-site farm and gardens

Things to note

All children and young people have identified social, emotional and mental health difficulties. They may also have learning difficulties such as autistic spectrum disorders including Asperger’s Syndrome, Attention Deficit Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, moderate learning difficulties and other specific learning difficulties.
