The Holmewood School London, is a school for 7-19-year-olds with high-functioning autism, Asperger's Syndrome, and other language, communication and social difficulties. 

Facilities

Dramatherapy is a creative psychological therapy, engaging dramatic techniques and exercises in order to explore the internal world of the individual, and how they relate to the external world around them.

  • Proximity to Woodside Park Station (1 minute) and Central London (20 minutes) means that they can take full advantage of the museums, theatres and many other opportunities that London has to offer.
  • Music therapy is a form of arts psychotherapy which uses music as well as verbal interaction as a medium for expressing and exploring the emotions and stories they have about ourselves and others.

Admission Details

  • Raise your admissions enquiry by using the Enquiry Form or contacting directly the Admissions & Marketing Manager, Mr Jay Gorasia (see contact details below)
  • Email copies of reports i.e. EHCP, school report, etc. to Mr Gorasia
  • If, after reviewing the reports, the admissions panel believe that The Holmewood School may be able to cater for your child's needs then you will be invited for a tour of the Lower or Upper School as appropriate
  • Attend an informal assessment (child) and interviews (parent/carer unless KS4+) with the Senior Leadership Team to ascertain additional information
  • Attend taster days to ascertain suitability of placement with current cohort. Note that these taster days may take place over a number of weeks, depending on the needs of the young person.
  • A school placement is either offered or declined
