Tennis Avenue School is Independent Secondary school in Selective for kids aged 8 to 16 (Gender - 8 to 16 )

The classes are entirely ability-based and not age-based, subject by subject.
There is a fluid mechanism for acceleration through classes for high-ability students, and of re-inforcement and consolidation for those requiring additional help

Pre-GCSE 1, Pre-GCSE 2, Pre-GCSE 3(Y7, Y8, Y9)
GCSE Lower, GCSE Upper(Y10, Y11)

Admission Details

To be able to thrive in the school, children must have a love of tennis and the potential to become a national level competitor. Acceptance is entirely based on tennis ability and potential, and an elite mentality.Competitive tennis is a high-pressure environment involving extreme stress on both the body and mind. This is not something they can (nor should) insulate the students from.As the mental and physical health of the students is extremely important to them, they try to select players who we feel are best equipped to develop the resilience and psychological tools necessary to cope under such pressure.

Fees

At just £9,600 our annual school fee is 50% that of a regular independent school, thus making private education with elite-level tennis training affordable to many families who otherwise would not be able to afford it.
