Surbiton High School is Independent Secondary school in Selective for kids aged 4 to 18.

Facilities

The school has an active rowing club called the Surbiton High School Boat Club which is based on the River Thames at Trowlock Way.

Scholarships

YEAR 7 ENTRY: At entry into Year 7, the School offers Academic, Art, Drama, Dance, Performing Arts, Music and Sport (Cricket, Football, Gymnastics, Hockey, Netball, Tennis and Skiing) Scholarships. Scholarships are awarded on merit from Year 7 to Year 11, and are allocated irrespective of family income, but dependent on the Scholar maintaining the expected standard of work or activity for which the Scholarship has been awarded. 

SIXTH FORM ENTRY: At entry to the Sixth Form, they offer Academic, Art, Photography, Drama, Dance, Performing Arts, Music and Sport (Cricket, Football, Gymnastics, Hockey, Netball, Rowing, Skiing and Tennis) Scholarships. In addition, the Dame Angela Rumbold Science Scholarship is awarded to a pupil who has attended the School since Year 7, intends to study two sciences at A-level, and aims to pursue a science-related course at university.
