Curriculum
Over the last few years at Sketchley, they have worked hard to develop the whole school curriculum they have been teaching to your children. For three years, the Creative Curriculum was a huge success with children and parents/carers alike all praising the learning experiences that took place. We saw an improvement in the engagement of pupils in the lessons they have experienced, exciting trips and visitors, fabulous creative work produced by the children, both at school and at home, but most of all, a tremendous increase of fun and excitement from everyone involved. As with everything, we are keen to maintain the enthusiasm and successes we have achieved so far.
RSE
Relationships and Sex Education aims to support children through their moral, social, emotional and physical development. They are committed to preparing the children for the responsibilities, opportunities and experiences of life by teaching them about families, personal identity, stable and loving relationships, healthy lifestyle choices, respect and caring for people around them. RSE is taught within PSHCE lessons from FS to Year 6.
