At Meadow View Farm School, we understand that every child is an individual and has been on a different journey during their early lives and do our upmost to ensure that they are given the support, guidance and opportunity to achieve and succeed in a setting that ensures they feel safe, secure and valued. They highly value the families and agencies working with our young people and building effective, positive relationships is key to our success. Curriculum
The curriculum has been developed with consideration; to be ambitious and meet the needs of our pupils’, develop their skills and abilities to apply what they know and can do with increasing fluency and independence.They have devised a bespoke curriculum which is carefully sequenced and interconnected; and which enables our children to develop their knowledge and understanding as they move through our school. Each curriculum area is organised in a two-year cycle, with topics of study being reviewed collaboratively by our teaching team at the end of each cycle.

Forest School
Forest school is a child-led long term learning programme delivered by our qualified Forest School Instructor. Following a holistic approach to learning and development, it focusses on nurturing the ‘whole child’ through increasing their self- awareness, self-regulation, self- motivation, empathy and social skills.Through reconnection with nature, children are involved with hands on experiences and taking learning right back to basics. Forest School allows children to become immersed in learning by actively encouraging risk taking, using their own initiative and pushing their own boundaries to develop key skills which will transfer not only in to the classroom but to the child’s wider learning.
