Things to note

  • After School Activity Clubs: At Sherington, they offer a variety of after school activity clubs throughout the academic year. The purpose of an activity club is for children to pursue a new interest or develop an existing one. Clubs are also designed to support the building of relationships with children across classes or year groups, focusing on a range of character strengths as well as key skills.   
  • Breakfast & Afterschool Club: Theey aim to offer ‘Out of School’ care to children of school age up to 11 years of age. We aim to offer play and educational opportunities that are both fun and challenging.The clubs operate within Sherington Primary School using the Creation Station and the ICT Suite.  The club follows all school policies and procedures around Health and Safety.   Staff who organise and run the Extended Day Care are employed by the school and work also as Teaching Assistants during the school day.    This ensures that the same high level of care and consistency of practice is maintained.
