Description

Richmond House School is Independent Primary school in Leeds for kids aged 2 to 11 (Gender - Mixed )

The School is the right place for you and your child, if you want them to be happy to learn, confident and stretched academically. With small class sizes, the children are constantly visible, which allows them to personalise the learning for them and keep a close eye on their progress throughout the year, ensuring they reach the goals they are capable of. In turn, the children will follow their pathway to the destination of your choice, with an enjoyment of learning and the confidence to succeed in whatever they choose to do.Mutual respect and inclusivity are central to the community; the children are the life of the School and everything they do revolves around them and their development; whether it is within or beyond our extensive curriculum. They are an ideal size, big enough to compete successfully in many sports and academic competitions, to perform many wonderful productions, and to make many good friends. However, we are also small enough to know children individually and that allows them to create opportunities to develop self-confidence and resilience through a caring and nurturing environment.

Facilities

3 To 5 Years Early Years
Starting school is a big step and they welcome children from the term in which they turn 3 into the nurturing and family environment. Children are taught the Early Years educational curriculum by fully qualified teachers along with lessons in French, Music, PE, Drama and Outdoor Learning. They develop new skills and flourish within the safe and stimulating surroundings of the Early Years setting, where they grow in confidence ready to move up into Year 1.

5 To 11 Years
They offer a challenging and varied curriculum, within extensive sports fields and specialist rooms. They are a two form entry, with small class sizes which allow for all children to learn as individuals and involve themselves in the extensive range of opportunities on offer. Academic success is reflected in the examination results, with children attaining above National average and being awarded many scholarships at their chosen senior schools.
