Refocus is Independent Secondary school in Not recorded for kids aged 14 to 16 (Gender - 14 to 16). Their vision is to provide students with a successful pathway into employment. Every student at ReFocus is a valued individual, commitment is to nurture and develop students social skills; build their self esteem and empower them to achieve their full potential. Their aim is for students to successfully complete their education feeling invigorated and READY to continue their employment journey.
Facilities
To provide a safe environment for students to develop key skills giving them insight into future trade employment. Taking an Holistic approach so students are able to obtain and demonstrate skills that are current, necessary and relevant. ReFocus aim to enable students to be able to function properly as adult citizens.
They offer Functional Skills qualifications, an alternative to mainstream GCSE’s in English and Maths, compulsory for all students that are enrolled, and all will be expected to work towards this standard.
The curriculum is designed to enable all students to make progress. It is adaptable to cater for individual needs and demanding enough to enable students to draw out their maximum potential.
