Set in beautiful private grounds, surrounded by the Surrey Hills, Pathways Education School offers a unique, safe and calm environment for young people aged 9-14 who have been out of education for at least six months. They provide a short-term education placement to reintegrate young people back into the most appropriate educational setting.They're fully inclusive and our aim is that all our students achieve their potential; personally, socially, emotionally and academically in all areas of the curriculum regardless of their gender, ethnicity, social background, religion, sexual identity, physical ability or educational needs.Pathways’ values are the standards that guide the whole community and form the foundation of the school culture. The digital course is designed to guide students in developing a marketable product or business. Learners will progress at their own pace to build their experience and understanding in designing and operating a sustainable and ethical small business and develop transferable skills for all areas of your life. Students can even receive funding to launch their own enterprise! The programme is designed for self-determined learning; where learners will have independence and agency in their learning to achieve a sense of purpose and fulfilment.This course is designed to guide learners in the development of self-agency, self-regulation, physiological and mental wellbeing. Through building secure and trusting relationships with staff and peers, students explore and develop their physiological regulation, flexibility in thinking about themselves and the world and their social connection with others. Learners are provided with rich opportunities to apply their skills and learning to wider aspects of their life.
