Nancy Reuben Primary School is Independent Primary school in Barnet for kids aged 1 to 11 (Gender - Mixed )
The school motto is "Together We Grow" and they are the most incredibly friendly and cohesive school community comprising staff, parents, children and governors all sharing the same common goal to be the best they can. They really do grow together and together, they achieve more! Every child is great at something and our job as teachers is to find out what and nurture it. This starts the moment a child commences at NRPS. We work closely alongside parents as partners in your child’s education. As a staff, we hope that you will become friends as we move through school together supporting your child as they grow together with us.
Curriculum
At Nancy Reuben Primary School, we recognise that the integration of secular studies with Kodesh serves to strengthen both curricula. The Kodesh Curriculum is an integral part of the whole school curriculum and the two are closely aligned at every opportunity. The Kodesh Teacher and Class Teacher work closely together to ensure the best for every child in their shared class. Kodesh is central to the curriculum at NRPS and we aim to ensure that our children have a solid foundation in all areas of Jewish Knowledge. We believe it is of utmost importance that children develop a love of Judaism and a strong commitment to Torah and Mitzvot.
Sensory Room
The sensory Room is a specially designed space aimed to stimulate the senses, promoting de-escalation and/or encouraging engagement. Sensory experiences can be hugely beneficial to children. They are great for promoting a range of developmental skills. For example, colour recognition, hand-eye coordination, fine and gross motor skills. It can create a calm space to aid in the de-escalation of a situation and Includes items such as wall padding for protection, along with colour changing mood lighting, bubble tube for distracting and calming.
Supporting children with any additional need
